What’s Wrong with Over the Counter Yeast Infection Treatment?

Just maybe, like the majority of sufferers from a yeast infection, you’ve resorted at one time or another to a big pharmaceutical over the counter yeast infection treatment. And, just maybe, you weren’t that satisfied with the results. I know I wasn’t!

For a lot of people the big drug company solutions aren’t all that helpful and actually just lead to more frustration and dejection.  What’s going on here anyway?

Part of the problem is that the typical over the counter medications promoted aggressively by the mainstream drug companies may help with alleviating some of the symptoms of a yeast infection, but they don’t do all that much about the underlying yeast imbalance in the system that lead to the infection in the first place and that can result in recurrent fungal infections if not addressed.

I don’t know about you but when I had one yeast infection it was one too many!  No way I want to go through that again.

Besides, as I’ve said elsewhere on this site, the benefits from the chemicals we put into ourselves have to outweigh the risks of side effects to be worth using at all.  And when there are benign natural alternatives the choice is simple!
